Japan’s Meteorological Agency said that there are still major Tsunamis to come, some as high as 8.1 magnitude and as late as next week. This is the biggest earthquake in Japan since records began over a century ago and fifth biggest in the world.
The tsunami is higher than some Pacific islands and could go right over them.
The IAEA reports that four nuclear plants have safely shut down, but Japan’s PM will still issue a nuclear emergency statement at 9:30 GMT.
It’s insane to me that there is water surrounding everything and yet things are on fire. Wow.
To all in Japan, please be/stay safe.
